SportsFam is an SMS-based notification service that sends reminders about children's sports events to designated family members. The Service includes:

• AI-generated personalized event reminders
• Scheduling and delivery of SMS notifications
• Management of family member preferences
• Event tracking and reminder history

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Only add phone numbers of individuals who have given you permission
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account
• Use the Service only for lawful purposes

5. Consent for Family Members

When you add family members to SportsFam, you represent and warrant that:

• You have obtained their consent to share their phone number with us
• You have informed them they will receive SMS messages
• They have the ability to opt out at any time by replying STOP
• The phone number provided belongs to the named individual

We send an opt-in confirmation message to all new recipients before sending any event reminders.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not use SportsFam to:

• Send spam or unsolicited messages
• Add phone numbers without the owner's consent
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems
• Use automated means to access the Service without permission

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by SportsFam and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Our Service uses third-party services including:

• Microsoft Azure for cloud infrastructure
• Trusted messaging providers for SMS delivery
• Azure OpenAI for message generation
• Mobile carriers for SMS transmission

These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Messages will be delivered on time or at all
• The Service will meet your specific requirements
• Any errors will be corrected

SMS delivery depends on mobile carriers and network conditions outside our control.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SportsFam shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including:

• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Service interruption or failure
• Missed events or activities due to undelivered messages
• Any damages arising from your use of the Service

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SportsFam from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Adding phone numbers without proper consent

12. Account Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service will cease immediately
• We will stop sending messages to your designated recipients
• You may request deletion of your data
